Benchmarking

Flashtalking's benchmark reports and analytics provide both individual client and vertical market benchmarking. We don't charge extra, and you don't have to wait months (or years with some of our competitors) for a view on the market.

We benchmark ad formats both individually and collectively by standard ads, enhanced flash, rich media and video ads against a host of metrics - including click through, interaction, video play, conversion, cost of acquisition, etc. Providing you detailed insights as to which formats are performing best and comparing across your market.

And of course we have a host of further data we can call upon to drill into for very advanced benchmarking so should you need a custom report we'll happily provide you one.

Attribution modelling & analysis

With growing online media sophistication simply allocating all value to a single click or conversion is no longer enough. Advertisers need an intelligent view on the path to conversion and the different points of interaction across search, display, pre-roll and rich media advertising. Unlike other ad servers Flashtalking's attribution data is based on all ad touch points within a campaign, rather than a restricted last "X" ads seen or selective sampling of data. Flashtalking's highly interactive visualisation takes complex data modelling and gives you an engaging and intuative set of tools ideal for presentations.

Average user profile
This report compares the average click, view and search converter in addition to non converters and provides an insight to their relevant exposure to video, rich ads, standard & search across the campaign.
Publisher path analysis
Provides the bigger picture of the role each publisher & search engine has on a campaign, allowing a quick drill down to see beyond the last publisher visited.
Ad exposure path
Gauge the importance of each ad format and search prior to final conversion.
Last ad versus attribution model
The traditional online model allocates all value to the last ad seen, the attribution model weights the importance of different campaign touch points. e.g. exposure to ads prior to final ad, exposure to video or rich media ads, even interactions.

Ad verification

Ad verification reports are designed to give you a better understanding of whether an ad has been seen rather than simply delivered on a page. The report breaks down by publisher or network (including referrer URLs) whether ads were initially displayed within the visible area of a users browser and for how long, what proportion of ads if not initially visible were subsequently seen on scroll, or were simply never seen.

Unique user, overlap & frequency of view

Flashtalking track and report on unique user at a campaign, site and placement level (placement level is not provided by many ad servers). We remove duplicate users across single and mutliple campaigns and within sites giving you a true reflection of your audience.

Detailed user overlap reports show where publishers reach the same audience, and exclusive unique user tracking identifies where the genuine unique users are to be found.

Reports are available from early in the campaign so you can act immediately. Unique user tracking across multiple campaigns gives you even greater long term insight. We also provide frequency of view, performance over time, and time to conversion tracking help identify the point of diminishing returns in a campaign.

Clickmap reports

Flashtalking Clickmaps are a 'heat-map' of where people interact with ads and help identify what drives that consumer engagement. A standard reporting feature in all Flashtalking rich media campaigns, maps are automatically produced for each ad format & site placement and for each version of a dynamic ad.

With many rich media ads today acting as a full microsite the Clickmap gives a unique insight on user behaviour beyond the simple clickthrough - is the audience viewing additional content, what drives their involvement and what call to actions deliver results.

Clickmaps are an ideal vehicle to help identify at a glance how individual aspects of an ad design impact performance and when combined with Flashtalking dynamic content Instant Ads you can swap out creative elements and quickly see the impact of changes.

Dynamic ad version reporting

With dynamic content ads each version has its own unique data and all version reporting appears within our standard reports interface. Simply drill down to the level needed - even view what an individual ad version looks like directly within the reports interface.

Each dynamic ad variant, each individual ad version and each group of versions can be individually or collectively reported on. As with all Flashtalking reports, you can compare any combination of metrics and you can swap between data grid format and graphic view in one click. You also have the ability to filter results, rename versions, group ads, export to excel, and take snap shots for PowerPoint presentations.

Multi-variant analysis provides performance of any given variable against any chosen metric. For example, which background colour, headline, or call to action works the best for conversion, interaction rate, click through, video play rate, etc.
