Unrivalled video quality and effects

Successful video ads rely on the quality of video, speed at which video appears, and a seamless delivery regardless of connection speed.

Flashtalking combines a multi-pass flash compression and bespoke algorithm to create both higher quality video and smaller video files (c. 30% smaller than our many of our competitors). This means your video appears and plays faster on-page, giving better value for money per page impression.

Our online video encoder allows video to be uploaded and ready to play in an ad within 15 minutes or less. Whilst easy to use build tools allow great video effects - synchronise video with animation at perfect frame by frame match, alpha channel video, create video hot-spots, or allow video to tween seamlessly as an ad expands.

In-Stream video

Flashtalking makes it easy to deliver and independently track pre, mid and post-roll video ads in publisher video players. No need to send source video to publisher - video material (e.g. TV ad) is automatically encoded with Flashtalking's online tools and available for you to preview in minutes.

Detailed, independent and consistent performance measurement for in-stream ads appear within Flashtalking's reports interface, along with all other elements of your campaign. Metrics include video start, percent played, complete plays, interaction time through to advanced attribution and unique user data.

Flashtalking in-stream supports the IAB's Video Ad Serving Template (VAST) standard - any video player supporting VAST can run Flashtalking video ads. Third party tracking for publisher-hosted ads is also available.

HTML5 video for Apple devices

As part of your wider online campaign Apple's browsers on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch can be served HTML5 video rather than a fallback gif/jpeg.

User initiated play of high quality full-screen video ads with tracking of ad impressions, video plays, percentage video played and video full plays is displayed in the Flashtalking reporting interface directly alongside other campaign activity.

Morph site content into ads
Flashtalking's screen grab component allows any area of a live webpage to be captured and become part of the ad content. The screengrab is continuously taken during the day / campaign keeping the ads fresh and reflecting the current live site. The component can be used for simple expand ads through to full page take overs.

Data feeds made easy
A simple "feed grab" solution for data feeds in ads. No need to involve the IT department - simply go to the website, highlight the feed, select which elements of the feed you want to use, and then drop them in your ad. You can also quickly select new feeds and update your ads accordingly.

Videoscreen ads
Designed to create a large screen video or microsite experience on rollover rather than click. The videoscreen ads view rates are x1000s higher than click to play full screen. The videoscreen features a countdown prior to ad going full screen, to ensure accidental rollovers do not impact user or publisher experience.

User generated content ads
Viewers can use their webcam to record, upload, and view their own content in an ad. Alternatively they can chat, comment, give feed-back, all within the ad. A moderator panel allows advertisers to review and approve generated content before going live.

Create multiple ad versions in seconds
The latest release of Instant Ads allows for hundreds, even thousands, of ad versions to be created in seconds. For example if a hotel chain needs to produce a different ad for each location, with hotel image, address and price, this can be done from a single ad file & a spreadsheet upload.

Mouse tracking ads
